A Manufacturing Technician with strong problem solving skills; the ability to assemble, test and calibrate a range of electronic and mechanical components and who holds a formal engineering qualification, will join a thriving high-tech company. This innovative company within the green energy sector seeks a Manufacturing Technician with attention to detail, who is a team player and who can bring a range of technical knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, test and calibrate electronic and mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Support assembly operations, calibration, fault-finding to sub-assembly level and supporting prototype builds.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in product quality and NPI (New Product Introduction).
Qualifications
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
  • Commercial experience within an electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of assembly, fault finding, repair and calibration.
  • Hand soldering skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional information

As a key member of the quality team you will be responsible for a range of tasks from assembly operations, calibration, fault-finding to sub-assembly level and supporting prototype builds to supporting continuous improvement in product quality and NPI. Applicants must have full eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship and ideally reside within a commutable distance.
