Candidates must have qualifications in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and experience in electronic assembly and soldering. The SPTS division of KLA, designs, manufactures and markets wafer processing solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries. SPTS provides industry leading etch and deposition process technologies on a range of single wafer handling platforms. End‑market applications include micro‑electromechanical systems (MEMS), advanced packaging, LED, high speed RF device IC’s and power semiconductors. At KLA we design, develop, and manufacture high‑tech capital equipment for the global semiconductor industry. In this role you’ll be working in our high performing manufacturing team to build and assemble our complex processing equipment.
Based at our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Newport, South Wales this role presents the opportunity to work with innovative technology and learn precision automated manufacturing processes!
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday. There may occasionally be the need to work on a shift basis due to business requirements.
