We're looking for a proactive and skilled Manufacturing Support Technician to join the Product & Packaging Operations team for our client based in Leeds. This role is essential in supporting the manufacturing processes for MAKE and prototype products, including grit-blasting, multi-stage cleaning, fitting, polishing, and laser marking. You'll work hands-on with advanced equipment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain machinery and laser marking equipment safely and reliably
  • Interpret technical drawings and work instructions accurately
  • Support the packaging equipment setup and inspection of rejected materials
  • Record activities and complete batch documentation
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs
  • Train colleagues on equipment and potentially support other sites
  • Champion 6S practices and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, R&D, suppliers, and maintenance teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • Recognised qualifications or proven skills in CNC machining (Fanuc, Mazotrol, Heidenhain, Mill Plus)
  • Experience in cleanroom environments and cGMP practices
  • Familiarity with UG CAD/CAM and software systems like JDE Oneworld, Adaptiv, PLM, Seiki Systems
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Experience in the medical device industry and validation processes
  • Basic understanding of Lean, 6S, and Operator Asset Care
