Overview

Job Title: Assembly Operator. Site Location: Cheltenham. Rate: £15.20 on days for a couple weeks - Moving to Swing shift (Earlies and Late) £18.55. Days: 6am - 2pm. Afternoons: 2pm - 10:15pm. Duration: 12-month contract. This role is for skilled operators working within a variety of roles focused on the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft parts for civil and military programmes. The role will include a range of tasks and the successful applicant should demonstrate flexibility and work effectively as part of a larger multi-disciplined team.

Responsibilities
  • Read and follow manufacturing plans
  • Ensure quality and health & safety adherence
  • Follow daily manufacturing metrics
  • Participate in lean activities and other initiatives
  • Support manufacturing delivery needs
  • Work in teams to achieve delivery targets
  • Complete manufacturing paperwork and job cards.
