Qualifications

  • Ability to challenge design and manufacturing techniques, ensuring DFM and DTC requirements are met.
  • Experience working within an engineering or component manufacturing environment.
  • Tooling design knowledge an advantage.
  • Understanding of the Industrialisation process for new processes and equipment.
  • Prior experience in leading investigations and corrective action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and approve manufacturing engineering processes.
  • Act as the focal point for Program and Operations Managers.
  • Ensure design considerations are incorporated into manufacturing processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding product information.
  • Conduct internal and external audits.
