Manufacturing Engineer

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who has worked within a highly regulated industry? We are working with a leading precision component manufacturer who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate, develop and optimise processes and methods of manufacturer. The successful candidate will have knowledge of fabrication and/or machining processes.

Permanent

Salary: dependent on experience

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm
  • Friday 7am - 12pm

Location: Derby – Site based

Job Description

Develop, create and improve manufacturing processes to meet production requirements. Investigate root cause of non-conforming parts and ensure corrective action is carried out and preventative action has been implemented. Support throughput of production and NPI work. Creation and maintenance of SOPs in support of manufacturing and production activities.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Accomplished working within a similar Manufacturing Engineer role, improving processes and methods of manufacturer
  • Knowledge and experience of fabrication and/or machining
  • Well versed dealing working within a highly regulated industry
