A manufacturing company in Nottingham is looking for a Manufacturing Assistant. You will assist in the assembly of components for electrical systems, uphold quality standards, and collaborate with your team to meet production goals. Overview

Manufacturing Assistant based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £30,420 per annum

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of components for electrical switchgear systems, specifically:
  • Control plate assembly
  • Trunking & DIN rail cutting
  • Cable preparation & assembly
  • CNC engraving machine & label printing
  • Goods in inspection
  • Export packing of switchgear panels
  • Uphold the company’s standards and deliver products of unmatched excellence
  • Champion cleanliness and organisation, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment that fuels productivity
  • Collaborate closely with your team to meet and exceed production targets and deadlines
  • Adhere rigorously to health and safety regulations
What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in manufacturing is essential
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary
  • Basic knowledge of electrical components and assembly processes is a plus, but not essential
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and precision, adhering to strict quality standards
