Job Title: Managerial Position

Fullan's Foodhall in Portglenone is a family-run supermarket serving its local community with a wide range of products and services under one roof.

Purpose of the role

To manage daily retail operations, support staff performance, ensure high standards of customer service, and take on key holder responsibilities including store opening and closing duties (when required), ensuring legal compliance with alcohol sales.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and support retail team members on the shop floor, ensuring smooth store operations
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in replenishment and stock rotation.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Manage daily operational tasks including opening and closing the store (when needed) Oversee ordering and stock control for all departments within your responsibility, ensuring consistent availability of key lines.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, placing timely and accurate orders in line with sales trends and promotional activity
  • Ensure correct storage, pricing, rotation, and merchandising of all off-sales stock, including seasonal lines and promotional displays.
