A leading biopharmaceutical consulting firm is seeking a Market and Business Development Manager to support their Directors in selling clinical trial consulting services. This role involves generating new business opportunities through prospecting, while developing relationships with key clients. A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, along with 1-2 years of biopharmaceutical sales experience, is required. Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach are essential. This position offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to transition into outside sales.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Life Sciences, Clinical Sciences or Statistics-related area. MBA or advanced degree highly desirable.

The Market and Business Development Manager (MBD) will support the Directors of Business Development in selling Cytel's clinical trial biometric consulting and CRO services to mid‑size pharma and biotech clients. This is a great Inside Sales opportunity for those interested in transitioning to Outside Sales in the future. Along with the Directors of BD, the MBD will be primarily responsible for generating new business opportunities through a mix of prospecting/cold outreach/lead‑generation in support of Cytel's new business acquisition priorities. The MBD will develop and foster relationships with key customer executives and decision‑makers, acquire an intimate understanding of the customer's business, and create new business opportunities for Cytel by identifying emerging customer needs and formulating the appropriate solutions. Over time, successful MBDs may develop additional responsibilities for account development and maintenance in an Outside Sales capacity.
