Job Overview

KPMG Law is seeking a junior to mid-level corporate lawyer to join its expanding team in Manchester. The Team KPMG Law is a disruptor in the legal services industry offering legal advisory services combined with new law and technology-driven offerings and multi-disciplinary solutions, inside a leading global professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Providing corporate legal advice on a broad range of client solutions spanning corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and equity incentive arrangements.
• Building relationships with other KPMG teams and KPMG clients to develop and provide multi-disciplinary solutions.
• Project managing and driving projects to conclusion.

Required Experience

The successful candidate will have experience across M&A and corporate restructurings gained at a national practice and be:

Minimum Qualifications

A good technical lawyer; it is expected that the successful applicant will be an English‑qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year’s PQE experience, gained in the UK at a reputable firm (but applicants with other suitable experience will also be considered). Strong academic, technical, and personal skills are essential.
