Role

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Cash & Payments Team to join our UK Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Oversee the end-to-end payment process across onshore and offshore locations, ensuring consistency of controls and standards
  • Conduct regular service reviews, quality assurance assessments off offshore team ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation in line with regulatory expectations
  • Identify, manage and escalate payment related risks, incidents and breaches ensuring incidents, errors and near misses are logged investigated and resolved with root cause analysis
  • Contribute at Operational Risk and Governance Forums
  • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders, including Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk and Client Management
  • Escalation contact for client and internal stakeholder queries and escalations from the offshore team
  • Support change initiatives, including regulatory change, new fund launches, onboardings and other fund changes
  • Manage, develop and mentor the staff within the UK Cash and Payments Team, ensuring high standards of performance and technical knowledge
  • Allocate workloads, set objectives, and conduct performance reviews
  • Promote a strong risk-aware and control focused culture within the team
  • Provide support to the other Fund Oversight Teams and the wider UK Trustee & Depositary teams
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Strong experience within Trustee and Depositary, Fund Administration or Asset Servicing
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA, CASS UCITS and AIFMD regulatory requirements
  • Proven people management experience within an operational or oversight environment
  • Strong risk awareness and understanding of control frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
