Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead point of contact & expert in the Business Insights function for key accounts of responsibility.
- Add value to provided reporting through identifying relevant commercial insights, actions, and recommendations.
- Pursuing excellence & accuracy, continuously look to improve how we deliver data and insights into key business stakeholders.
- Own the weekly trade and monthly/quarterly review interactions for your area of responsibility, providing clear actionable insights to key stakeholders while focusing on impactful presentation.
- Support relevant commercial/brand teams in performing deep dive analysis into identified areas of need/focus, pro-actively providing relevant insights and suggested actions.
- Own the creation of regular sell-out (to consumer) forecasting, market share modelling & scenario planning for your relevant accounts, influencing net sales planning, driving a demand‑led approach and healthy inventory position.
- In collaboration with the Reporting team, support and drive continuous development and improvement of reporting and data management, reacting to new tools & business priorities as needed and ensuring SLAs (including timing & accuracy) are met.
- Support the roll‑out of new reporting into relevant business stakeholders, including upskilling & feedback.
- Collaborate closely, building relationships with commercial, brand, digital stakeholders on individual account, and with peers within the Insights function.
- Maximize depth of insight generation, driving synergies by leveraging data points across the full spectrum of granularity – online/offline, internal/external, geographies, categories, genders, product types, price points, colorways, etc.
- Through these insights, provide business recommendations relating to ideal product assortments, depth of buys, breadth of ranges, replenishment opportunities and other key insights to accelerate the adidas business.
- Create and own additional reporting tools that sit outside of the standard reporting framework, e.g. Market Share, store level, Digital.
- Engage directly with external partners (alongside sales counterparts) during key selling & go‑to‑market milestones, providing product assortment‑driven analysis to highlight & communicate future opportunities.
- Pro‑active contribution to wider total marketplace projects at a category level (Category "World Cups").

Qualifications & Experience
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen & critical thinking ability.
- Good communicator with proven ability to clearly communicate data‑driven insights & analysis.
- Solution oriented with a focus on results.
- Interest and experience in dealing with large data sets & proactively modelling/deriving insights from said data.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in spreadsheet analysis.
- Experience creating and manipulating dashboard visualisation tools (PowerBI preferred, otherwise keen interest).
- Growth mindset with a track record of active development and desire to continue progressing.
- Highly motivated self‑starter with good planning and organisation skills.
- Comfortable working in an international environment.
- Fluent English is necessary; university degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a business insights, merchandising or equivalent function consistently using data & insights to drive business success.

- Experience working within the sporting goods/fashion retail industry is preferred.
