About the role

Future B2B is looking for a Manager, Audience Growth and Engagement to oversee the implementation of the B2B audience growth strategy for well‑known brands, including SmartBrief, Actual Tech and ITPro. The Manager, Audience Growth and Engagement works with B2B editorial, partner, product, and tech teams. This collaboration enables the creation of subscriber growth campaigns across owned, paid, and partner channels, using existing audiences and prioritising audience lifecycles. You will report to and work with the Head of Partnerships and Audience to identify ways to enhance and evolve the comprehensive subscriber journey across the B2B division and you'll support the following.

Responsibilities
  • Increase the B2B funnel and subscriber lifecycle to boost conversion, retention, and lifetime value (LTV)
  • Develop strategies across channels (300+ email newsletters, websites, webinars, print, events) to cultivate and expand Future B2B's audience
  • Reconceptualise engagement, retention, re‑engagement, and churn reduction strategies through continuous testing and refinement; develop win‑back strategies for lapsed subscribers
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure product‑market fit and maintain a competitive advantage
Qualifications
  • Experience with audience acquisition strategies
  • Previous audience growth or product marketing at a digital/publishing company
  • Experience with digital marketing channels and analytics
  • Experience presenting ideas to multiple partners, including senior management
  • Proficiency with engagement tools and project management software (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, and Asana)
  • Experience building and nurturing online communities

Compensation & Location

The expected range for this role is £30,000 – £38,000. This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home. Internal job family level P6.
