Overview

Turn financial insight into strategic impact. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team at Ansty Business Park, Coventry (CV7 9JU) on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll deliver accurate, insightful, and timely financial information to support decision-making across a defined business area. Reporting to a Totex Finance Business Partner, you’ll manage the monthly reporting cycle for East of England Network, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide expert financial advice to business managers. You’ll also play a key role in improving financial processes and ensuring that all control activities are completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Own the management accounting process for your area, from reporting to forecasting.
• Manage the monthly reporting cycle and prepare timely financial information for decision-makers.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for East of England Network or designated area.
• Provide expert financial advice to business managers and support strategic decisions.
• Improve financial processes and ensure control activities are completed to a high standard.
• Collaborate with Finance peers to share best practices and drive performance improvements.

What you’ll bring

• Qualifications – Qualified accountant with a UK-recognised body.
• Experience & Skills – Strong financial and commercial acumen with post-qualification experience; proficient in SAP/BPC and advanced Excel; skilled in planning, forecasting, and financial reporting; excellent communication and stakeholder engagement; experience working with technical and commercial teams; ability to challenge the norm and propose innovative solutions; strong judgement, initiative, and decision-making ability.
