Overview

Hayward Hawk are delighted to be recruiting for a proactive and detail-driven Management Accountant to join our client's finance team. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate divisional accounts, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting business decision-making through reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring reconciliations and cost analysis are completed on time
• Oversee intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations each month
• Take responsibility for stock management and related reporting
• Handle supplier reconciliations and ensure purchase orders are maintained correctly
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and weekly reporting
• Prepare and present KPI and performance reports
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders across the business
• Undertake additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business

What You’ll Need

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
• Demonstrable experience in a management accounting or finance role
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting systems
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
