Qualifications

  • 1-4 years' experience as a Management Accountant within a multi-entity group structure from an Investment Management background.
  • Ability to start in early to mid-January 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post monthly journals.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, including reconciliations under UK GAAP.
  • Liaise with internal teams on expense recharges.
  • Calculate quarterly asset management fees.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Support annual accounts preparation and audits.
  • Prepare quarterly FCA returns.
  • Handle ad-hoc queries across the finance function.

About the Role

Join this finance team on an initial 6-month contract as a Management Accountant, where you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making. You'll work closely with a team of four, reporting to the Corporate Accountant, and be part of a wider finance team of ten.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post monthly journals.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset reporting under UK GAAP.
  • Liaise with internal teams on expense recharges.
  • Calculate quarterly asset management fees.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Support annual accounts preparation and audits, including responding to auditor queries.
  • Prepare quarterly FCA returns.
  • Handle ad-hoc queries and provide operational support across the finance function.
What We're Looking For
  • 1-4 years' experience as a Management Accountant within a multi-entity group structure from an Investment Management background.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with banking platforms.
  • Ability to start in early to mid-January 2026
