We are excited to welcome a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Management Accountant, supporting the Head of Finance (UK). This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our finance department's success, where you'll play a key part in month‑end procedures, accurate and timely reporting – including board reports – regular forecasting, and the annual budgeting process. Responsibilities
  • Take the lead on Apadmi UK's monthly forecast process – working closely with the Head of Finance to explore new scenarios and sharpen financial modelling.
  • Compare actuals vs forecasts and uncover what drives the difference, turning insights into clear, concise updates that help keep the business on track.
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with the Group Financial Accountant on the consolidated balance sheet, keeping things tight.
  • Own the production of the Apadmi UK monthly board report – influencing key conversations and sharing financial highlights.
  • During audit season, help the Group Financial Accountant keep everything moving smoothly.
  • Play an important part in the ERP transition, helping shape how finance tech works for us.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated group management accounts and board reports for stakeholders inside and outside the business.
  • Continuous improvement – help find better, smarter ways of doing things every day.
  • Support Head of Finance and wider teams with ad‑hoc tasks that keep the business running smoothly – no two days are the same.
Qualifications
  • Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with hands‑on management accounts experience.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to build relationships and share insights across all levels of the business.
  • Someone who enjoys the pace and energy of a growing organisation and is always looking to improve how things are done.
  • Strong analytical skills with a love for problem‑solving and storytelling through numbers.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage your own time and workload.
