Qualifications

• Prior or current experience in a dealership or fast-paced accountancy position.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• IT literacy with a preference for management system software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Produce management accounts for dealership sites.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet.
• Support non-financial managers in the business.
• Assist the central accounts team.
• Maintain the Kerridge system and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare files for internal and external auditors as needed.

An exciting opportunity for a Dealership Management Accountant within the Newport area has arisen for our Motor Trade Client. Working within a multi-award-winning Car Dealership group, the successful Management Accountant will be well versed in providing an exceptional accounting service.

Requirements

• Prior/current experience within a Dealership/fast‑paced Accountancy position.
• Highly organised, and strong team player.
• IT literate – preferably a strong understanding with management system software.

Duties

• Production of management accounts for dealership sites.
• Full monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet.
• Support non‑financial managers in the business.
• Support the central accounts team.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Kerridge system and to ensure full compliance with our client’s accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of files and returns for both internal and external auditors as required.

Our Client is seeking a Dealership Accountant who has a proven track record within an Accounts Department and ideally holds both Motor Trade and Dealership experience.
