Overview

Kenton Black Finance are exclusively supporting an innovative SME to appoint a new Management Accountant due to growth and an internal promotion in the finance team. This hands-on role will support further forecasted growth and enhance existing systems and processes. Offices are within a commutable distance from Preston, Blackpool/Fylde and Lancaster (within a 20-30 minute drive).

Your New Role as Management Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a varied and hands-on role with duties to include:

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts pack
  • Support with year end requirements
  • Cash flow reporting
  • Preparation of budgets
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Review existing systems and processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing these where appropriate
Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be proven in a similar level role with a hands-on and versatile working approach. You will have strong IT skills and analytical capabilities alongside good interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide valuable input into the development of systems and procedures.
