Skin + Me is a mission-driven start-up with ambitious skincare goals.

We're seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance Team. This hybrid role involves three days a week at our Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote.

About the role:

The position balances core finance responsibilities with project-based work. Core duties will develop your skills towards becoming a well-rounded management accountant, essential for future progression to a finance director role. Project work will allow you to impact the company significantly by driving system improvements, cost efficiencies, and strategic initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Lead the month-end close process, overseeing junior team members to produce accurate management accounts;
• Engage in ad-hoc projects, including:
• Identifying and implementing process improvements;
• Rebuilding controls and reports;
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business;
• Manage external statutory audits, liaising with auditors and collating data;
• Handle corporate compliance, including VAT returns and statutory filings;
• Oversee the monthly payroll process in coordination with HR and third-party providers;
• Manage treasury functions, including cash forecasting, savings optimization, and KYC management.
