Overview

The Management Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, covering both Treasury and Trading activities across the business and its subsidiaries. A core responsibility of the role is the preparation and delivery of consolidated group financial information in line with strict reporting deadlines. The role will also focus on monitoring and analysing business performance, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and timely while supporting initiatives to enhance profitability and optimise cash flow. This position is onsite in Glasgow with potential to be Hybrid and offers a salary up to £42,500 DOE. You must be a UK Citizen or have Indefinite Leave to Remain.

Duties
  • Support with Annual Budgets and Quarterly Re-forecasts at group level
  • Manage AP & AR ledgers to ensure alignment with business cashflow requirements
  • Seek out ways to deliver Financial Opportunities and mitigate Financial Risks, holding stakeholders accountable for their actions
  • Implement and update financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all company financial policies are up to date and in line with statutory regulations and legislation
  • Create and Maintain relationships with external stakeholders of the business
