We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Accountant to join our well-reputed client based in East Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising the financial aspects of supply chain operations and business partnering with departments such as procurement, logistics, and production, overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting needs.

Description

  • Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Utilising financial data to support decision-making, providing detailed analysis and reporting on key supply chain metrics
  • Monitoring and controlling department costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to enhance financial efficiency
  • Collaborating with procurement, logistics, production, and other departments to align financial objectives with supply chain strategies
  • Providing financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Contributing to the development of financial systems and processes
  • Supporting internal audits
  • Working closely with other departments to improve financial performance
  • Completing material costings within SAP
  • Participating in ad-hoc finance-related projects as required

Profile

  • CCAB qualified preferred (ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS, or Chartered Accountants Ireland), but will consider part-qualified, finalists, or QBE
  • Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (large data sets), Power BI, SAP, ERP systems, and familiarity with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
