The Role

Beyond Talent Solutions are proud to be supporting a leading manufacturing business in Doncaster with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a real impact within a well-established organisation.

As Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Financial Director, taking ownership of key finance activities that ensure accurate reporting and smooth financial operations. Your role will be varied and hands-on, giving you exposure across management accounts, payroll, reconciliations, and process improvements.

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
• Managing monthly and bi-weekly payroll processes, including HMRC submissions and BACS files.
• Performing stock reconciliations and analysing container landed costs.
• Supporting financial audits and driving improvements in processes and procedures.
• Undertaking VAT, bank, debtor, creditor, and stock reconciliations.
• Supporting wider finance functions such as posting journals, cashflow management, and statutory reporting.

About You

We re looking for a candidate who brings both technical expertise and a proactive, collaborative approach. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• AAT Level 4 qualification as a minimum, with CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualification or equivalent desirable.
• Previous experience in a management accountant role, ideally within manufacturing (though not essential).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• Experience with Epicor and Sage Payroll would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• A genuine enthusiasm to learn, develop, and support colleagues where needed.
