Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making
- Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial performance
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the retail business
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with company policies
- Support the year-end financial process, including liaising with auditors
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
- Experience with budget preparation and forecasting
- Ability to develop and implement financial systems and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Amersham
