A leading health organization is seeking a Major Trauma Patient Liaison Practitioner to provide holistic support for patients and families through their major trauma journey. This pivotal role offers compassionate care and advocacy, ensuring high-quality support and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have relevant professional registration, experience in healthcare, and management skills. This position is fixed term for 24 months with a salary between £48,527 and £55,532 per annum.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 24 months to meet the needs of the service – with option to extend.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Major Trauma Patient Liaison Practitioner (MTPLP) to join our team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in establishing a holistic support service for patients and their families/carers throughout their major trauma journey.
The MTPLP will be fully integrated within the Major Trauma Service (MTS), providing personalised information, emotional and practical support and advocacy within the multidisciplinary team.
Key duties include:
You will be part of a dynamic team providing support and advice to major trauma patients across the Polytrauma Unit, Critical Care, Spinal Injuries Unit, Surgery and Medicine.
The MTPLP will offer compassionate support, advocate for the needs of patients and families/carers, and develop a robust resource to signpost to the most appropriate services and third sector partners.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
