Job description

Overview

Maintenance Technician - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team on a 12-week temp to perm scheme.

Location - Greater Belfast Area

Salary - £35,000 per year (Room to increase once taken permanently)

Hours - 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday only

Overtime - Overtime is there at 1.5x

Responsibilities

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats, hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks.
• Electrical bias repairs to building maintenance system, lighting and power upgrades, electrical conduits and circuit boards, distribution work, 3 phase equipment etc. (not all of this is required).
• There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated; this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
