We are actively seeking a Maintenance Technician (mechanical biased) to carry out the maintenance, repair and installation of plant, equipment, systems and building structure associated with Trust premises.
Band 5, £31,049 - £37,796 per annum
Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Understands operational procedures and safe working practices of major items of plant and systems including:
Heating and hot water systems
Ventilation plant and associated systems including refrigeration and chiller units
Low voltage electrical distribution systems and switchgear
Emergency stand by generating plant
Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
Lifts
Door access systems
Nurse call systems
Awareness of operational procedures and safe working practices of major items of plant and systems such as: Gas distribution systems
Carries out work in accordance with relevant building and health and safety regulations. Interprets legislation, technical guidance, and best practice codes. Works autonomously in ensuring maintenance services are delivered and targets are met, including co ordinating the work of other team members. Makes judgements across relevant technical Estates issues, within own area of expertise. Makes judgements consistently within the context of the CARE values and the Trusts commitment to be outstanding in all it does.
