Job summary

Job description

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Maintenance Technician for one of the world’s leading providers of automation solutions within intralogistics. As part of a larger engineering team, you will be responsible for the maintenance onsite.

Shift pattern: 2 x 12-hour days, 2 x 12-hour nights, with 6 days off.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment onsite as part of a larger engineering team.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance to ensure reliability and uptime of automation systems.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to address issues and implement improvements when required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to an NVQ/C&G’s/BTEC Level 2 or higher within Engineering in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
• Good knowledge of maintenance functions and an understanding of automation within engineering.
• This role would be suitable for engineering technician, assistant engineer, maintenance technician, junior engineer, maintenance engineer, mechanical engineer, automation technician, field service engineer, service technician.

Remuneration: Starting salary of £32,600 increasing to £34,400 after probation.
