Qualifications

  • Ideally hold a City & Guilds in bricklaying, carpentry, or a similar trade qualification.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of buildings maintenance and construction.
  • Be able to work at times with little or no supervision and have the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general repairs to the premises.
  • Manage stock control and account for goods and materials.
  • Manufacture and install carpentry and joinery items.
  • Conduct bricklaying, concreting, plastering, and roof repairs.
  • Execute duties on days of events as required.

Location: Ascot

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend work for specific events)

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician on behalf of our fantastic client based in Ascot. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious estate with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To carry out general repairs to the premises.
  • To carry out stock control, account for goods and materials held in stock for future use and keeping the Maintenance Team Leader informed of any materials requiring ordering.
  • To manufacture and install carpentry and joinery items.
  • To undertake bricklaying, concreting, plastering and roof repairs and other similar maintenance work.
  • To carry out duties on days of events as required.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ideally hold a City & Guilds in bricklaying, carpentry, or a similar trade qualification.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of buildings maintenance and construction.
  • Be able to work at times with little or no supervision and have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude and a strong team player.
  • Be able to lift heavy items, using equipment provided where needed.
  • Hold a current, valid Driving Licence.
