Job description

Overview

Our Maintenance team are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our Knightsbridge store operating at the highest standard. You will play a key role in ensuring our estate is maintained beautifully and efficiently, supporting the unique environment our colleagues and customers enjoy every day.

Role and responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks to agreed standards.
• Prioritise urgent works that impact health and safety, operational stability, and brand reputation.
• Support minor projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
• Liaise with colleagues across other trades to ensure work is well coordinated.
• Monitor and support external contractors where required.
• Maintain accurate updates using the Planon CAFM system.
• This is a physically active role, averaging 25,000 steps a day. You will work a 44-hour, 4 on 4 off shift pattern (7:30am to 7:30pm). There are also opportunities for overtime at a rate of 1.5x.

What you’ll need

• A minimum City and Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery.
• Experience in all aspects of carpentry and joinery.
• Secondary skills in painting, decorating, tiling, roof repairs, flooring, or locksmith tasks.
• Knowledge of relevant BS standards and regulations.
• The ability to use good judgement under pressure and adapt quickly.
• Enjoy working within a team and are a strong team player.
• Qualifications such as IOSH, IPAF, or PASMA would be an advantage, and we offer training and development opportunities for the right candidate.
