  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)

Job Description

The client is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician to support ongoing maintenance and engineering operations at the Calgaz Cambridge, MD facility. This role is responsible for supporting all planned and unplanned maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain maintenance plans, timelines, and execution strategies while minimizing production impact. Key responsibilities include overseeing onsite contractors and vendors, executing preventive maintenance (PM) work orders, supporting engineering projects, and documenting all maintenance activities within the Intelex system. The role also supports production operations, including manufacturing HBCs, transfill orders, and covering personnel gaps due to vacation or illness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with and support all safety programs, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee planned and unplanned maintenance activities at the Cambridge, MD facility
  • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) work orders on schedule
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Manager, Project Managers, and Operations leadership
  • Manage and oversee onsite contractors and vendors
  • Partner with Supply Chain for contractor and vendor sourcing
  • Ensure compliance with IMS/QMS and environmental standards
  • Document and track maintenance activities in Intelex
  • Recommend and implement maintenance program improvements
  • Interface with plant personnel to reduce production disruption
  • Support production operations and assist during staffing gaps
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience maintaining pumps, vacuums, valves, piping, and compressors
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Strong understanding of safety and quality regulations
  • Basic arithmetic proficiency and strong English communication skills
  • Computer proficiency (Intelex, MS Word, MS Excel, Google tools)
Preferred Skills
  • Cryogenic liquid pump experience
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Experience in regulated production plant environments

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
