Overview

Role - Maintenance Team Leader

Salary - £55k + OT

Hours – days/afternoons finishing at 7pm with flexi time.

West Yorkshire - commutable from Leeds surroundings, Wakefield, Barnsley

Holidays – 31 + 8days bank holidays

ATA Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic client in West Yorkshire, who are the fastest growing Engineering specialists across UK/Europe. They are a multi-site group supplying specialist services across, wholesale, retail and manufacturing facilities.

My client is accredited to the highest BRCGS Food Safety standards and provide world class services to some of the biggest names within the food and manufacturing industry.

Due to an internal progression, there is a vacant position for a Maintenance Team Leader to join a team of 12.

This opportunity is perfect for the maintenance team leader to take the next step into the supervisory position – you will lead and oversee a team of 9 engineers being 20% hands on assisting with emergency breakdowns. In addition to the role, you will be managing their CMMS system overlooking various reliability installations, scheduling PM’s, ordering parts and attending daily meetings with different department heads. This role will be 20-30% hands on.

Responsibilities
  • Checking and issuing goods that come in for the warehouse and external customers
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules prioritising key task daily
  • Purchase of materials
  • Support the day-to-day maintenance on emergency breakdowns
  • Suggest continuous improvements to the operational team
  • Develop training materials and tools proposed to leadership management and implement 5s Kaizen projects
Requirements
  • Experience of working on a CMMS system
  • At least 1 year experience within a maintenance team leader position
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of ordering parts
