A leading housing organization is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to oversee the planning and execution of repairs in Stevenage and surrounding areas. You will conduct building surveys, ensuring compliance with quality standards and KPIs while engaging with customers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Diploma in Surveying, is a member of a professional body, and can travel as needed. The salary ranges from £33,592 to £46,189 per annum, and various benefits are provided.

Location: Braintree, Bishops Stortford and surrounding areas
Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager, you will be responsible for pre/post‑inspection, reporting for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
You will plan and coordinate repair, maintenance and construction work to deliver according to cost, time and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include undertaking building and technical surveys to determine the building condition, identify defects and associated risks, carry out major void inspections and ensure work is completed in line with KPIs, and make recommendations based on survey findings.
