Job summary

A leading housing organization in Greater London is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to manage repairs and inspections across the South. You will work closely with contractors, providing technical advice while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate has a HNC in Surveying or higher qualification and experience diagnosing property conditions. Overview

Maintenance Surveyor - ( 26225 )

Salary £50,000 to £55,000 per year depending on skills and experience. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw). Covering a patch in the South and/or Greater London area, based from Liverpool Street or South Harrow. We can’t offer a CoS for this role.

You have
  • HNC in Surveying or HND/Degree in surveying or construction related field, with strong post qualification experience
  • Knowledge of damp and mould, or willing to work towards a qualification
  • Experience diagnosing property condition and scoping for remedial works
  • Understanding of building pathology and complex issues like subsidence
  • Experience managing contractors and ensuring health and safety compliance

The practical bits
  • You’ll work Monday to Friday
  • You’ll manage your own diary
  • You’ll cover a patch across the South. Expect to spend time on the road and working from home
  • You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage
  • You need a Basic DBS check that we pay for
