About Us

Continental Bitumen, part of the global Colas Group, is a leading supplier in the bitumen trading more than 5 million tonnes annually. With its own international shipping fleet and a UK presence that includes a production and storage facility at Avonmouth Docks in Bristol, we import and blend bitumen for a wide client base and have a bitumen manufacturing plant in Warrington.

About the Role

This role focuses on both mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance of pressure systems, pumps, and hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Managing operations, overseeing inventory and ensuring quality control.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot pressure systems, pumps, and hydraulics.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities and report findings.
  • Promote and uphold the highest safety standards at all times.
About You
  • Relevant technical qualification or certification.
  • Proven background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, ideally within a similar environment.
  • Understanding of pressure systems and experience with pumps or hydraulics.
