Overview

Maintainence SupervisorBirminghamFull-time: 8-hour shifts (8am–8pm, Monday–Sunday)Salary - up to £34,727 per annum. Are you the kind of leader who’s not afraid to get stuck in? We’re looking for a practical, problem-solving Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small team and keep our clients’ properties safe, compliant, and welcoming. This is the perfect role for someone who knows their way around tools, enjoys fixing things, and can inspire a team by leading from the front.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Working alongside your team to keep buildings in top shape – from routine checks to urgent repairs.
  • Tackling planned and reactive maintenance: plumbing, joinery, electrics, plastering – whatever needs doing.
  • Keeping properties safe, secure, clean, and ready for residents.
  • Jumping on issues quickly, fixing what you can, or knowing when to escalate.
  • Encouraging safe working practices and supporting sustainability initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • A team leader who’s approachable, supportive, and leads by example.
  • Hands-on maintenance know-how – practical skills in plumbing, joinery, plastering, or electrics.
  • A solid grasp of health & safety.
  • Someone who enjoys problem-solving and putting residents first.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts, lone working, and the occasional out-of-hours call.
