Role Overview

A global provider of healthcare services and medical facility solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee maintenance operations across mobile and modular healthcare facilities. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure compliance, manage subcontractors, and support clients nationwide. Occasional out‑of‑hours work required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and coordinating day‑to‑day and out‑of‑hours maintenance activities, both planned and reactive
  • Managing and developing a small team comprising Maintenance Manager and the maintenance team
  • Overseeing budgets, reporting, and contractor performance including compliance
  • Delivering preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Liaising with healthcare clients, particularly on the more complex issues
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance activities
  • An in-depth knowledge of NHS / healthcare (i.e. HTMs, HBNs)
  • IOSH qualification
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Good working knowledge of MEP, water systems, medical gases & BMSAs
