Reporting to the Maintenance Shift Team leader, this role is responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery in industrial settings. Using computerised systems, the maintenance engineers perform routine maintenance and repairs. They are also involved with control and monitoring devices and occasionally assist in the manufacture of items that will help in maintenance.
Shift engineers will work in a clean, safe, cost effective and responsible manner, monitoring plant, machinery and services throughout the factory.
Shift engineers are required to work with minimal supervision and to work flexible shift patterns to meet operational needs.
