Overview

The Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance, repair and installation services for buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment across the Trust.
Person Specification / Qualifications
  • Must have completed a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and gained wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance, plus relevant post-apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
  • Must hold a current UK driving licence and reside within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties.
  • Role is Monday – Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working.
Benefits and Details
  • Salary: Band 5 plus local RRP (£3,277 pa), with an approximate £1,000 pa on-call retainer, overtime.
  • Holidays: 27 days.
  • Pension: Voluntary pension scheme.
  • Base Location: Poole Hospital
