Overview

Opus Vitae is recruiting on behalf of a leading business to strengthen its team with an experienced Electrical-biased Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a site that's committed to achieving world-class maintenance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plant and equipment
  • Completing both mechanical and electrical repairs and refurbishments
  • Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting issues quickly and safely
  • Supporting process and equipment improvements to boost efficiency
  • Using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) daily
  • Inspecting and testing equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Supervising contractors and visitors where required
  • Providing occasional out-of-hours cover on a rota basis
What we\'re looking for
  • Strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Recognised electrical qualification
  • Experience with PPM systems and electrical fault finding
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and electrical drawings
  • Comfortable working at heights and operating a MEWP
  • Safety-focused, proactive, and keen to contribute to process improvements
