Qualifications

  • At least 3 years' experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally electrically biased.
  • Comfortable reading electrical drawings.
  • Experience with PLCs is advantageous.

Maintenance Engineer

4on/4off Days and Nights (2 days/2 nights, four off)

The Company:

The business is a globally recognised food manufacturer and one of the biggest employers in West Bromwich, with over 500 employees. They are partnered with some of the most iconic brands in the UK and have an exceptional industry reputation. Operating out of a fully automated, state-of-the-art plant, they have recently developed an in-house training programme for current and new maintenance engineers to learn electrical skills, including PLC u-skilling with a new test rig. Important - for this role, you must be electrically biased and electrically qualified.

As a maintenance engineer, some of the machines you will work on include, but are not limited to: ovens, fryers, conveyors, packaging machines, robots, slicers, provers, metal detectors, and other bespoke machinery.
