Aptar is seeking a Maintenance Engineer based in Leeds.
The primary purpose of the Maintenance Engineer role is to ensure the continuous operation of plant and equipment, including moulding and assembly machinery, through day‑to‑day maintenance activities. This role supports the production department by driving efficiency and improvement in collaboration with other departments, suppliers, and internal personnel, while adhering to Aptar Core Values. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for identifying problems and assisting in the implementation of long‑term solutions, demonstrating flexibility to meet the business's needs
We are looking for an ideal candidate who is proactive and skilled in maintaining plant and equipment, including moulding and assembly machinery, to ensure seamless production operations. The candidate should excel in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults, as well as assisting with the maintenance program for various machinery. They must demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities and contribute to the implementation of long‑term solutions. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role requires adjusting to the business's evolving needs.
