We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime across a busy production line. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical background and sound mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct both preventative and reactive maintenance with a focus on reducing production downtime.
2. Diagnose and repair faults on electrical control circuits, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC systems.
3. Lead equipment installations and improvement projects.
4. Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance logs.
5. Work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve technical issues.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Time-served with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in an industrial maintenance setting.
• Strong understanding of 3-phase systems, motor inverters, control panels, and fault finding.
• Good working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiar with PLC-controlled machinery and control gear setup.

Desirable Skills:

• TIG welding/fabrication skills.
• 17th or 18th Edition certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
