Job Overview
I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased) for my manufacturing company based in Bredbury. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
The current salary is £44,072.46 per annum. Paid monthly.
The shift pattern is starting at 05.00 to start the site services and cover the plant until 23.00. This involves working 4 rotating shifts to cover this. The shifts rotate on a weekly basis. Usually no night shift or weekends for normal working but some overtime would be expected, currently paid at time plus 1/2.
The holiday entitlement is 27 days plus the statutory holidays.
My client offers an employee pension scheme where the company will top up the employee's contribution. This is currently up to a max of 7% by the company. The employee can put additional funds in if they wish to do so.
