This position entails day-to-day maintenance, supporting planned schedules, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fault finding and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Background in food manufacturing or FMCG (desirable but not essential).
  • Exposure to PLCs and diagnostics (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on milling and production equipment.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Support planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Maintenance Engineer and team to implement maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Food Safety standards.
  • Participate in a 1-in-3 call-out rota for out-of-hours support.

Skills

About the Role:

Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? Our client is seeking a proactive and multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and performance of plant and equipment across two flour milling sites. Based primarily at Frampton on Severn, you’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, supporting site improvements, and maintaining a safe, efficient food manufacturing environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in fault finding and maintenance of production equipment.
