Job description
Overview

Maintenance Engineer - FMCG, Suffolk. Monday to Friday, Late Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM). £43,000 - £46,000 per annum.

This company offer individual development plan for all engineers on site, Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm with overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, with mechanical knowledge to support where required.
  • Ensure equipment operates at optimal efficiency to support production targets.
  • Record and update maintenance logs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work as part of a close-knit team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Skills - Qualifications
  • Electrically biased engineer, industry recognised qualifications.
  • Time-served (apprenticeship or similar route advantageous).
  • Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to fault-find on PLC-controlled machinery (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc. a bonus).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment
