Previous food experience isn't required and we're looking for electrical and mechanical engineers to join a high-performing maintenance team.

The site is easily commutable from Doncaster, Pontefract and Goole.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (1530 - 1430, 1430 - 2330)

About the Role:

Based at a large, fast‑paced food manufacturing business you will be part of a multiskilled engineering team responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance across the site.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, your key responsibilities include :

  • Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and disruptions to production.
  • Ensuring all planned maintenance is carried out to a high standard.
  • Proactively looking for long‑term engineering solutions to recurring issues, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Getting involved in upgrade and installation projects.
About You:

You’ll need to be apprentice trained (or have equivalent experience) and hold NVQ Level 3 or above in mechanical or electrical engineering.
