Overview

Maintenance Engineer - 8 hours Shifts | Mon - Fri | No weekends

Location: Deeside

Salary: £49,500 - £52,000 + pension + 26 days holiday + bank holidays + benefits

Hours: Mon - Friday 8 hour shifts - 6 - 2 | 2 - 10 | 10 - 6

The Job
  • Be part of a team to initially help set up the plant / factory, assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain manufacturing and materials handling machinery such as conveyors, high speed materials processing machines, pneumatics, PLCs, SCADA, bearings, wrappers, packaging machinery.
  • Reactive and preventive maintenance, changeovers, workshop duties.
  • Contribute to downtime improvements, HSE.
The Person
  • Seeking 1 x Electrical and 1 x Mechanical bias / NVQ 3 or ONC or HNC
  • Experience working with PLCs - e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi
  • Good understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles would be an advantage
  • Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
  • Suitable backgrounds can include (but not limited to) manufacturing plant experience e.g. materials, packaging, FMCG, food, automated warehousing, etc.
