Overview

Maintenance Controller – Location: South Normanton
Salary: £28,420 per annum plus other company benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00pm – 6:00pm
On call rota: 1 in 6-8 weeks

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Controller for our client's Commercial site in the South Normanton area. This is a superb opportunity for a Maintenance Controller to work for a busy and well-established leading market company.

Responsibilities
  • Excellent Excel ability and knowledge.
  • Service Scheduling: Create and manage service schedules and planners for compliance across diverse fleets, ensuring all vehicles meet legal and compliance standards at all times.
  • Work Coordination: Book, schedule, and plan work with our extensive network of suppliers, ensuring efficient operations and quality service delivery.
  • Job Management: Chase updates, document progress, and keep our systems updated with notes on each job to maintain clear records.
  • Quality Assurance: Vet inspection and service sheets, ensuring all vehicles meet compliance standards before being returned to service.
  • Breakdown Management: Proactively handle breakdowns and defects, managing all unplanned events from initiation to resolution while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee estimate and authorisation workflows through various communication channels, including portals, emails, and phone calls.
Requirements

  • Self-Motivated: A proactive approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Organised: Strong organisational skills, with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • IT Proficiency: Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage data effectively.
