Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Warminster
Shifts: Long day shifts and sleep‑ins required
39 Hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage participation in activities and promote independence suitable to the young person's age
  • Maintain a safe, warm, and homely environment
  • Safely manage challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism
  • Protect and support children and young people's health, welfare, and well‑being
  • Liaise with parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young person's care
  • Support young people to develop life skills and confidence
  • Keep up‑to‑date with individual care plans and communication preferences
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a children's residential setting or working with young people is preferred
  • Healthcare or social care experience is advantageous
  • Must hold a full UK driver's licence and have access to a car (sleep allowance included)
  • Over the age of 21
  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable)
  • Reliable, compassionate, and motivated to support young people on their journey to independence
  • Ability to commute to Warminster
